  • We encourage students to take their exams within the May window and use the makeup dates only if needed due to a schedule conflict or issues with technology.
  • Students need to be able to access their My AP website.  If students need the password reset they can click on “forget my password” or call AP at 888-225-5427.  Wait times may be long.
  • E-tickets will be available two days before the exam via the student’s email and their My AP account.
  • Help your child create a quiet testing environment by picking a good spot for testing in the house and limiting other devices on the internet during the exam.
  • Check into the exam 30 minutes before the start time.
  • Submit response within the last 5 minutes of the exam. Responses not submitted on time will not be graded and no makeup will be given for losing track of time and not submitting a response.
  • During the exam, don’t refresh the browser or hit the back arrow. If something goes wrong (device crashes or lose internet access) students can request to take the makeup exam at makeup.  This form is only for students who started taking the exam and are unable to finish it due to a temporary disruption that negatively impacted the exam.
  • The Grammarly plug-in must be disabled or the exam won't function (spell and grammar check are allowed but will not provide an advantage).
  • Help your child to know when the exam is scheduled by checking the exam schedule. Exams are listed by time zone.  The E-ticket has a hyperlink “Find your local time” that students click on to show the correct time.
  • World Language exams must download the free AP World Languages Exam App— which will be available in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store before the exam.
